A PERSON has been treated by the ambulance service after a three-vehicle crash in Neston.

Emergency services were called to Upper Raby Road, Neston at around 11.35am today (Saturday, November 18).

Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service rescued one person who was trapped in a car by removing the roof.

One fire engine attended from Powey Lane and one from Ellesmere Port.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: “Three vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision, leaving one casualty trapped in a car. Firefighters removed the roof of the vehicle using specialist cutting equipment, to allow extrication of the casualty who was handed into the care of the ambulance service. Firefighters were at the scene for approximately one hour.”
