COULD our dog of the week, Arlo, be the canine companion for you?

The one-year-old Lurcher, currently in the care of staff at Dogs Trust Merseyside, is described as a 'young, energetic boy who loves to be on the move', and is looking for a family that has as much get up and go as he does!

A spokesperson for the rehoming centre added: "If Arlo had a middle name, it would be ‘fun’!"

He thoroughly enjoys his walks and despite his eagerness to explore all that’s on offer, he walks well on the lead.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Arlo is a super boy who will fit really well into a lively family who has energy to match his!

"He loves heading out in the car on an adventure and we know he’ll make a super family pet."

Arlo could live with another dog of a similar size who he’d need to meet at the centre first to make sure they could become firm canine companions and he can live with children of secondary school age, but he doesn’t want to share his home with cats.
