A 21-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Rock Ferry this afternoon (Tuesday, November 14).
At around 1.30pm today, Tuesday, emergency services rushed to the scene at Egerton Park.
An eyewitness on social media said there were several police cars and police vans in attendance.
Following inquiries, a 21-year-old man from Rock Ferry was arrested on nearby Victoria Road.
He was arrested on suspicion of threats to commit criminal damage, threats to commit grievous bodily harm, and threats to commit arson.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police has confirmed that the man remains in police custody.
