WIRRAL residents have been getting creative in preparation for Remembrance Day.

As we approach Remembrance Day, Wirral is observing the occasion in true fashion with a number of poppy tributes across the borough, paying respects to the fallen soldiers of the First World War.

Poppies can be seen displayed across the peninsula including outside churches, schools and even in phone boxes.

Here is a round up of some of the displays which can be seen in Wirral.
