A WIRRAL charity will be hosting its annual Violence Against Women and Girls event this month.

Tomorrow’s Women (TW) is a charity led by women for women. They offer any adult woman who is aged 18+ a safe and female-only environment where they can access advice, support and guidance to make positive lifestyle changes.

They aim to help women make these lifestyle changes by "reducing the personal, social, health and economic disadvantages women face by working in partnership with other agencies and organisations".

The charity, based in Birkenhead, offers support to women who have suffered domestic abuse, with in-house courses to help them set healthy boundaries for the future and allow them to build confidence.

Women’s mental health and wellbeing are "at the forefront of the centre, offering group sessions around stress and anxiety as well as holistic approaches such as yoga and meditation". They also have a counsellor on-site offering free counselling sessions.

Tomorrow’s Women Wirral are holding their annual Violence Against Women and Girls Event on November 24 from 1pm to 3pm.
