A WIRRAL pub has re-opened after a four-week refurbishment.

The Ferry, on Tobin Street, Wallasey, has re-opened today (Thursday, October 26) after a "very long and very busy" four weeks.

The pub has "a bright new look inside and out" and the work carried out gives "additional unprecedented views over the Mersey from inside the pub as well as providing enhanced disabled access".

The Ferry have also updated their menus, with a selection of home-cooked dishes and a vast selection of drinks.

Owner, Chris Stockton, said: "We are very proud and excited to be re-opening The Ferry after it's refurbishment.

"We are really pleased with the end result and can't wait to welcome all our customers back.
