YVETTE Fielding burst on to our screens in Seaview at the age of 13 and shortly after the producers of Blue Peter snapped her up to become their youngest ever presenter at just 17 years of age.

In an incredibly successful and varied career, Yvette has presented shows such as What’s up Doc?, Practical Parenting, Looking Good, BBC’s flagship show City Hospital, Baby Baby, Girls Talk, Karaoke Challenge and Well Being, to name a few.

She is also a dab hand at property shows, having presented Granada’s studio-based Simply DIY, Meridian’s A Weekend’s Work and Under Offer, a game show in which celebrities guessed the value of unusual properties for ITV.

Having been in television most of her life, she put her experience to good use and started a production company with her husband Karl Beattie, a cameraman and producer. Antix Productions was born and Most Haunted was their first commission.

First shown on Living TV between 2002 and 2010, more than 300 episodes of the programme have been broadcast to date.

The show has gone on to become the most successful worldwide paranormal investigation series ever made and is to debut its spine-chilling theatre show in 2023-24, including a date at New Brighton Floral Pavilion on Wednesday, November 29 (2023) at 7.30pm.

A spokesperson for the production said: “Presented by Yvette Fielding - the first lady of the paranormal - together with Karl Beattie and the Most Haunted team, audiences will be taken on the darkest, most terrifying journey of their lives.

“Theatre audiences will be shaking in their seats as Yvette and the team present Most Haunted’s All Time Top 10 Scares complete with unseen video footage from haunted castles, manor houses, hospitals and prisons.

“Most Haunted Live will take the theatrical experience to a whole new level with audience members taken back to the Victorian age of séance and Ouija board and invited to conduct their very own ghostly investigation.

“In this show no-one is safe and ‘seeing is believing’.”

Tickets cost £33.50 and are available from floralpavilion.com or by calling the box office on 0151 666 0000.
