A WIRRAL balloon artist is among a talented team chosen to create an immersive balloon landscape in aid of charities.
Andrea Roberts, originally from Wallasey, will help create the scene out of more than 125,000 balloons in Guildford to support the Surrey Charity Network.
Hundreds applied, but only 75 were selected, for the chance to take part.
The Big Balloon Build is a non-profit organization that partners with charities to raise awareness and funds to help children in need.
Dedicated to creating magical and immersive balloon experiences, every Big Balloon Build is unique offering an amazing opportunity to make a difference through the joy of balloons.
Stuart Davies, director of the project, said: “We have more than 50 world-class balloon artists traveling from ten different countries to help make a difference through the joy of balloons.
"It will be the biggest balloon installation to have even been done in the United Kingdom,”
All proceeds from the event benefit the Surrey Charity Network, a collective of 30 charities in the Surrey/Guildford area that support local children.
Andrea - who moved from Wirral in 2008 after marrying Mark and now lives in Leyland, Lancashire with him and their children Jessica, Annie, Emelia, George and Alice - is the owner of A Gift 4 U in Leyland.
She is donating her time and talents as a balloon artist, bringing joy and support to children.
She said: "After seeing the amazing creations from other Big Balloon Builds, I never imagined being chosen to join a Big Balloon Build, so when the email came through to say I had been selected I screamed with excitement.
"My husband and five children also shared the same excitement and cannot wait to see what myself and the other builders create in December.
"It is an amazing opportunity to be able to work with Stuart Davies and many other talented balloon artists from around the world."
