THERE were reports of heavy traffic following a two-vehicle crash on the M53 Southbound from A59 to J1 A5139 Wallasey Dock Link South (Wallasey) this morning (Tuesday, October 10).
Police were called to the incident, involving a Nissan X Trail and a Volkswagen Touareg, on the slip road at Junction one of the M53, at 8.20am.
Paramedics were called to the scene, but there were no reports of any serious injuries.
One lane was closed due to accident. Reports on social media said traffic was 'at a standstill'.
