RESIDENTS in an Ellesmere Port postcode are celebrating today (Tuesday, September 5) after the area was selected in the daily People's Postcode Lottery draw.
Players in Little Sutton could be £1000 richer after the postcode (CH66 4NX), which is located on Collingham Green, was drawn as one of 20 winning postcodes for the Postcode Active Trust's monthly lottery.
The People's Postcode Lottery manages draws for 20 Postcode Trusts, meaning that there is a draw each day of the month for Postcode Lottery players.
Player pay £12 a month, which entitles them to be entered into all draws, with prizes ranging from £1000 to £1m. A third of their monthly ticket price is then given to good causes and charities across the country.
To date, the Postcode Lottery has raised more than £1bn for charitable causes.
