A WIRRAL support group is bringing back their free yoga classes for carers in the community.
The Wirral Carers Health and Wellbeing Service (WIRED) announced their new Carers Yoga Sessions in August.
Recognising the "essential role that carers play in society", they created these sessions to provide carers with the "tools and techniques they need to prioritise their own health and wellness".
The programme offers both online and face-to-face yoga sessions. Online sessions on Zoom will allow carers to participate from the comfort of their own homes.
The team will be using the facilities at All Things Must Pass Wellness Centre on Borough Road in Wallasey for their face-to-face sessions.
A spokesperson for WIRED said: "The senior yoga teachers at the centre bring a wealth of experience and expertise to guide carers through these sessions, helping them achieve relaxation, mindfulness and improved physical wellbeing."
These sessions are offered free of charge to all unpaid carers registered with the Wirral Carers Health and Wellbeing Service (WIRED).
