THERE are so many things to love about Parkgate.

Parkgate is a small town on the western coast of Wirral, facing across the Dee to Wales, and downstream from Chester.

It’s popular with many for days out as it's home to beautiful wildlife, amazing ice cream, incredible sunsets and some brilliant fish and chips.

We asked residents what they loved most about the popular village and this is some of their answers.

Ice Cream

Many spoke about the ice cream, with award-winning shops Nicholls of Parkgate and Parkgate Homemade Ice Cream Shop both sitting along The Parade.
