ITV is to broadcast a special documentary on Paul O'Grady tomorrow evening (Sunday, April 9) following his death last month.

The Birkenhead-born TV presenter and comedian died "unexpectedly but peacefully" on Tuesday, March 28.

During his TV career, he hosted The Paul O’Grady Show, Blind Date and Blankety Blank, as well as ITV’s multi-award-winning For The Love Of Dogs.

He was also the host of the ITV celebrity game show, Paul O’Grady’s Saturday Night Line Up.

For The Love Of Paul O'Grady will be an hour-long documentary, described as "a tribute to the late presenter, comedian and chat-show host, whose unexpected death at the age of 67 prompted a flood of tributes from viewers, his entertainment colleagues and even Camilla, Queen Consort."

They have also confirmed that Series 11 of Paul O'Grady: For The Love Of Dogs, a set of episodes the comedian completed before his unexpected death, will premiere, as previously planned, on Thursday, April 13 at 8.30pm.

Final radio show to be rebroadcast

Paul O’Grady’s final ever radio show will be also rebroadcast on Easter Sunday, in tribute to the late comedian and TV star.

The two-hour show, which originally aired on Boom Radio on Christmas Day last year, will be played in its entirety, including all festive elements.

It will air at 2pm, the time previously scheduled for his return.
