AT LEAST three people have been injured in an explosion inside the Chester Market building.
Emergency services are responding to what is thought to be a gas explosion at a premises within the development on Hunter Street.
Police say three people have sustained serious burn injuries.
They have been passed to the care of paramedics and are on the way to hospital
The Fire Service sent three engines just before 6.30pm.
The development has been evacuated and a cordon is in place.
