A NEW weekly breakfast club for men over 19 is starting in Neston to encourage engagement and socialising.

Amber Button CIC, set up in 2015, supports a number of not-for-profit initiatives across Wirral and Cheshire, which focus on confidence building, well-being and supporting people back into the workplace.

Currently, in Neston, the team provides a weekly Work Club drop-in at Neston Community and Youth Centre.

The sessions are completely free to attend and are open to all adults regardless of age or ability.

On Monday, February 27, Amber Button CIC will be starting their weekly 'men's chat breakfast club' at Neston Community and Youth Centre from 9am-10.30am.

Managing Director of the team, Jeanette Cook said: "We're really trying to encourage men to come along and engage with one another, to build a network of support.

"Men who come to these sessions can expect meeting with like-minded people, and support for their positive well-being through friendships and learning from one another."

There will be bacon sandwiches and refreshments available at the session and they will be run by Victoria Cantlay to begin with.

Activities in the group include Lego, woodland foraging, diet and fitness, cookery skills and fishing.

Jeanette added: "We recently started a group in Eastham which has taken off and we now have 8-10 men who come weekly."
