WITH the February half-term fast approaching, you might be wondering how to keep your little ones entertained without breaking the bank.
We have pulled together a list of the best child-friendly activities across Wirral.
Take a trip to New Brighton Beach
There’s plenty to do in New Brighton. Start off with a walk around Vale Park and explore the mini fairy village.
Walk along the coastline towards Marine Point to grab an award-winning ice cream from Caffe Cream, or a spot of lunch from one of the several restaurants and cafes along the waterfront.
Go to the Art Gallery
For young budding artists, Port Sunlight's Lady Lever Art Gallery is a great Art Gallery to visit.
It is a beautiful building housing one of the UK's finest collections of fine and decorative art.
They have 'Craft and create' and 'Chinese New Year' events during half term.

There are alpacas, goats, hens, geese, sheep, pigs, rabbits, ponies and more.

There is plenty of books available and the staff are always on hand ready to help.
The library is open every day apart from Sunday.
