A WOMAN who runs a 'Moo Music' class across Ellesmere Port, Chester and Flintshire has celebrated her third anniversary in the job.

Moo Music classes are situated across the UK, all ran by different class leaders.

Their sessions are a way to interact in original songs, role play, sign language, sensory play and games.

Classes not only develop musical ability and enjoyment but they can also contribute to a child’s speech and language development, motor development and social skills.

Clare Walker-Gordon, from Chester, had always enjoyed singing and found Moo Music in Flintshire, where she took her son.

After going to university and deciding she wanted a career change, Clare began running Moo Music in Chester in 2019 and then took over Ellesmere Port and Flintshire during Covid.

Speaking to the Globe, she said: "Covid was a really crazy time to go through.

"It went all online but parents still stuck with me, and it's good to see i've come out the other end."

Clare's classes range from Moo Born (up to six months) which is very sensory-based, with eye-tracking and massages to Baby Moo (six months up to 16 months) to Mini Moo (toddlers).

The 39-year-old added: "It's been a crazy three years. Coming out of uni and going into something I wasn't going to go into. I thought Covid was going to ruin the business, but it didn't and actually gave me time to train.

"A lot of the mums who have been with me from the start, have been on this journey with me.

"Most of my classes are sold out, and have waiting lists, so I'm really proud of what I've done."

Clare's classes take place at Fun4all (Chester), Vernon Institute (Saughall) and Boulder Hut (Ellesmere Port) throughout the week.

Moo Music classes are also ran in Wirral, by Lindsay Darker and Laura Pickston.
