MEMBERS of the Heswall community paid their respects to remember the sacrifices of servicemen and women this morning.

Veterans and residents gathered at Heswall Cenotaph War Memorial to mark Remembrance Day.

Residents, civic leaders, veterans, and Army personnel held a service with a two-minute-silence followed by a parade and plaque unveiling.
