A RESTAURANT has finally opened its doors as a dine-in service in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port.
Tony Mok, and his wife Jasmine Yu, opened their new Chinese restaurant Ateyate (pronounced 88) yesterday (Thursday, October 20).
Speaking to the Globe, Jasmine said: “It’s a fusion, Asian cuisine. We have been a takeaway for a couple of months but are now a restaurant with a full alcohol licence.
“We have a gluten-free menu as well.”
Tony has over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
Jasmine added: “There are no good Chinese restaurants around here, so we decided to open up our own.”
For opening night, Jasmine and Tony set up balloons and bought props for their customers to take photos with and post on social media.
Ateyate serves soups, noodle boxes, curries, and popular dishes such as salt and pepper chicken, dumplings and crispy duck.
Their gluten-free menu serves chicken or beef in oyster sauce, chop suey, noodles and rice dishes.
The restaurant is open every day apart from Tuesday, from 4.30pm-10pm.
Ateyate is located at 6a Ledsham Road, Little Sutton, CH66 4QQ and you can book a table by calling 0151 339 0000.
