POLICE officers have arrested three men on drug charges following an incident in Birkenhead today (Monday, October 3).
A member of the public witnessed what was described by officers as a "large scale fight" on The Woodlands estate this afternoon and after police were contacted they arrived at the scene this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Whilst officers from TeamBeb have been on hi-visible patrol, a member of the public has alerted officers of a large scale fight occurring on the Woodlands, Birkenhead.
"Officers have arrived at thwscene and have entered a property under concern for the occupant at the address whereby a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs have been located inside the property. Three males have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply."
Merseyside Police has been approached for further comment.
