Students at West Kirby Grammar School have overcome great challenge and disruption during their courses of study and, owing to their excellent attitude and application, have once again achieved remarkable levels of success. Students have been celebrating outstanding results across the board leading them onto courses at top universities and other exciting opportunities.

Results have been truly exceptional which is testament to the hard work and determination exhibited by all students and staff throughout the duration of the courses. Staff continue to embrace innovative ways to deliver an outstanding education and our students have shown great resilience as they engage with their studies, making incredible progress and putting them in a position to access the very highest grades this summer evidenced by 45% of grades being the top A*/A grades and 70% of all grades being awarded at A* – B.

Wirral Globe:

Students’ destinations are diverse and exciting. Their exceptional results now see them move onto universities including Oxbridge and Russell Group universities as well as accessing some of the most competitive apprenticeships in the country and we wish all of our students the very best in their future endeavours.

44 students achieved straight A*/A grades in all 3, 4 or 5 of their subjects studied and the entire school community is most proud of what our students in Year 13 have been able to achieve. We are delighted that their hard work and commitment is reflected in the results and personal achievements of our students. Offering 29 subjects at A Level allows our students to pursue their true passion and areas of interest and it is fantastic to see exceptional success with students excelling in all subject areas.

Wirral Globe:

It is always important in such times of celebration to note the impact of all of those who have supported the work of West Kirby Grammar School and its students. The school always values the input of parents and carers, and it is hoped that everyone feels a huge sense of pride in the achievements of our students.

The school is incredibly proud of all our students whether they are now taking up apprenticeships, moving onto university, employment or taking a gap year and we wish them every success in the future. We hope that they all stay in touch with the school as they become a part of our wider school community and alumni network, and we look forward to celebrating in their future successes with them.
