WE asked our Globe readers what you think is missing from the town of Neston and here’s some of the things that you said.

With ongoing strikes and issues concerning railways and buses, Emma Hardie Malekakh and Celia Collins both said they there should be more public transport.

Celia also wrote saying there should be a post office. This was the top answer for what is missing in Neston, sent into the Globe by more than 20 different locals.

As well as a post office, another top contender for what is missing in the town was a bank.

Shellie Perry added to this by saying there should be "a working cash point machine" as there has been recent issues with the cash points available in Neston.

Many residents also explained that they want more food options and restaurants.

Lyndsey Jayne Fitzpatrick said: "Subway, KFC, McDonalds, sushi restaurant/takeaway."

Benjamin Mark agreed with introducing a Subway and Ruth Roberts-Jones liked the idea of a KFC.

Alison Constantine Young has asked for a "Zero waste/health food shop".

Going back to the topic of transport, Lesley Skews wrote: "Direct Rail service to Chester and Liverpool."

Donny Tarbert agreed with the direct rail service to Liverpool, along with Fran Ces who also asked for buses to Chester on a Sunday.

Chez McGrath wrote: "Something for the kids to do."

Kate Michelle added: "Decent sized Asda or Tesco - we've got overpriced Sainsburys, dodgy quality fresh produce in Aldi and mini overpriced, tiny range Tesco Express. We need a proper popular decent ranged supermarket that other towns have."

On the subject of shops, it was highlighted how there is a large number of charity shops but not enough standard clothing shops.

Karen Elizabeth Alkins Vine said: "Clothing shops, other than charity shops".

Helen Harri Doyle-Smith agreed with this, she wrote: "An affordable clothes shop with adult clothing. (That is NOT a charity shop!)"

Kieron Chapman wants a "bar selling decent craft beer" and Andy Parry requested a cinema.
