COULD you give Nala a forever home?

The four-year-old Belgian Shepherd, currently at Dogs Trust Merseyside, has found herself back in the animal welfare charity's care through no fault of her own.

Described as a dog with a sensitive side. She can be a shy girl but she gets attached to people quite quickly so it shouldn't take her long to form a bond with a new family.

Nala gets a little overwhelmed if there's lots going on around her, but in quiet areas she likes to explore with her nose and is much more relaxed.

Wirral Globe:

Georgina Lowery, Dogs Trust Merseyside manager said: "Nala is a sweet, affectionate girl who just loves to be made a fuss of and will nudge your elbow so that she can snuggle under your arm!

"Nala loves tasty treats and this is a great way to start some training with her to help her build her confidence.

"She's a clever, bright girl so training will help to boost her self-esteem and build a bond with her adopters.

"Nala is a little wary of other dogs due to her past experiences with them but is happy to walk alongside quiet dogs who don't really want to interact with her, so for this reason she would be best suited to a pet-free home.”

Nala can live with adults over the age of 16 years old with time left alone being built up gradually, once she's settled.
