FOLLOWING on from the roaring success of their regular Sunday morning Mosh Tots shows, Future Yard in Birkenhead has announced its very first Mosh Tots Festival.

Combining all the rockin’, moshin’ and glowstick wavin’ action of the venue’s weekend shows, the Mosh Tots Festival will take over all Future Yard’s indoor and outdoor spaces and stages on Sunday, July 17, with a full day of live music, workshops and Mosh Tots fun for all the family.

Headed-up by the Mosh Tots Band, Sing Song Sally, Chuck Stick and Ham String have invited along a super-exciting line-up of musical guests to join them at the festival.

This includes special-guest headliners Stealing Sheep. Over three albums, Bex, Emily and Luci have cemented themselves as one of the UK’s most innovative live acts, blending psychedelic-folk, electronic-disco-pop and techno. They’ve played Nile Rodgers’ Melt Down Festival, Glastonbury, End of the Road, Latitude and have toured internationally.

Joining them will be the alluring indie RnB of iamkyami and the off-kilter alt-bedroom-pop of Amber Jay. Expect off-the-wall pop-punk madness from The Fun Time Boys and The Moss Farm. And of course, there will be an uber-special appearance from The Mosh Tots band themselves.

Alongside the music programme, Future Yard have put together a packed schedule of workshops and activities throughout the day from the Rhythm Reaction Drum Workshop to a relaxing yoga session for kids and grown-ups.

There will soft play for the mini-moshers, plus a Moshtails and Ice Cream Bar with family-friendly food available throughout the day.

Future Yard director Craig Pennington said: “The Mosh Tots Festival live music bill is designed with young moshers and music-loving parents in mind; a line-up for the discerning grown-ups, which is super-fun, energetic and bombastic for the kids!”
