AN exit slip road has been closed following a crash by the Queensway Birkenhead Tunnel.
The A41 Chester Street Northbound exit slip road to the tunnel has been closed after an accident took place this morning.
Motorists have been advised to seek alternative routes as there are traffic queues at A5227 Borough Road.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident (Pictures above and below: Ian Fairbrother).
A diversion via King’s Square has been put in place and all other access roads are currently accessible.
