THE Queensway (Birkenhead) Tunnel will be closed at the following times this week for essential maintenance work:
- From 9pm tonight (Monday, June 20) until 6.30am on Tuesday (June 21)
- From 9pm on Tuesday (June 21) until 6.30am on Wednesday (June 22)
- From 9pm on Wednesday (June 22) until 6.30am on Thursday (June 23)
- From 9pm on Thursday (June 23) until 6.30am on Friday (June 24)
During the closure of the Queensway (Birkenhead) Mersey Tunnel, the Kingsway (Wallasey) Mersey Tunnel will remain fully open in both directions.
