COULD you be the one to give our dog of the week May a forever home.

The three-year-old Collie Cross - currently being cared for at Dogs Trust Merseyside - is described by staff at the animal welfare charity as "a beautiful young girl, who has a super sweet personality".

Wirral Globe:

She truly loves the company of people and enjoys nothing more than giving and receiving affection.

She will keep herself happily entertained for hours playing with toys, especially tennis balls and soft toys. She is very playful and fun! She would be so happy to find a forever home with a family who adore her, and she will provide so much joy in return.

It appears as though May hasn’t had any basic training, but that doesn’t mean she can’t learn.

She will need to be the only pet at home and ideally in a low dog populated neighbourhood, as she isn’t so sure about other dogs.

She can live with children over the age of 12. Georgina Lowery, Dogs Trust Merseyside Manager said: "May was found as a stray, so her history is unknown, what we do know is she is an absolute love bug – she has so much love to give!

"She would ideally like a family who are happy to give her cuddles and love back."
