Alison Holmes from Moreton in Bloom told the Globe this afternooon: "It's all about making the area a better place in which to live, work and shop.

"We had a remembrance display in the town centre in November and a Christmas-themed display, so we thought it would be amazing to have a mural to mark the Jubilee.

"We are super-excited to see the mural taking shape.

"It's on the side of The Wedding Collection shop. Maria the owner has been very supportive."
