Set in the days of Robin Hood …  Bow & Arrow The Ghost of Sherwood City, presented by City Theatre and described as "a laugh out loud comedy that is definitely not for faint hearted", is at the city centre venue on May 27.

The production - featuring performers from Wirral and Liverpool - is for over 18s only.

Among the cast is Graham Lyne, from Thingwall, who plays Maxwell Helmsley - dubbed ‘The Greatest Man Alive’ - and now installed as the caretaker Sheriff of Sherwood. Louis Cashin-Harris plays his sidekick and Gob.

The other Wirral performers are Johnny Sedgwick Davis, who plays Arrow and Nikita, a dancer.

Things can only get better for the villagers of Sherwood.
