New Ferry Post Office reopens at different location in town
NEW Ferry Post Office has reopened at a new location in the town.
It has opened, with the same postmaster at 39 New Chester Road, New Ferry.
The opening hours are Monday – Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm. This is longer than the previous opening hours.
The previous branch at 41 New Chester Road closed on Wednesday March 23, due to the withdrawal of the premises.
The previous retailer at 39 New Chester Road, Becky’s Sewing Boutique, has moved to a new location.
Karl A Haddon, Post Office Network Lead, said: "We are delighted to have restored Post Office services to New Ferry as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. This full-time Post Office is convenient for customers to visit."
