This weekend is the Easter bank holiday and many are hoping for warm and sunny weather ahead of the long weekend.
Although in March the Met Office predicted a heatwave, there isn't much hope of that in the most recent forecast.
However, it is set to be dry and milder largely across the weekend in Wirral with some clouds in place.

Met Office forecast 2022 Easter weekend
Friday, April 15
Temperatures will reach a high of 15C on Friday and lows of 9C.
It is set to be cloudy for most of the day with little rain and wind, reaching highs of 13 mph and sun from 4pm.

Sunset: 8:12pm
Saturday, April 16
Similarly to Friday, temperatures will remain mild and chances of rain low.
Around 1pm will be the warmest part of the day at 15C and sunny intervals in the mid-afternoon.
It will be slightly windier, around 14mph, and there is a 10 percent chance of rain.

Sunset: 8:14pm
Sunday, April 17
On Easter Sunday there will be highs of 15C from 4pm and lows of 9C.
It is set to be a mildly windy day, with gusts of 14mph at 4pm and clouds throughout the day.

Outlook for Monday 18 - Monday 25
The Met Office has not released its forecast for Monday, April 18 onwards, but there is a long-range outlook for the UK.
The Met Office says:
This period is likely to begin cloudy in the northwest, with isolated light rain.
Elsewhere fine conditions are expected after early mist and fog clears, with light winds, though low cloud may linger along some coasts where temperatures may also be suppressed. Some showers are possible in the southeast.
For the rest of the period, a northwest-southeast split is likely, with the northwest remaining more changeable with strong winds and rain at times.
The southeast is likely to be dry and generally more settled, though perhaps rather cloudy, with mist and fog likely in the mornings and lighter winds through to the end of this period.
Temperatures are expected to be above average, and warm at times for the south.
