Wherever possible we try and support local businesses and organisations. Whether it be our IT, workwear, printing or facilities management we prefer to spend locally when possible. By opting for local businesses, helps support the local economy and makes for a stronger community. Ours is a business that has been built around the community and independent businesses supporting us.

TRANMERE ROVERS

Our support for Tranmere Rovers, Wirral’s only professional football club, has never wavered. We have stood beside the club through promotions, relegations and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Tranmere Rovers are more than a football club, like Argyle Satellite, they are a linchpin of the community.

WIRRAL FOODBANK #SupportLocal

As part of our commitment to the people of Wirral, we also support Wirral Foodbank and their service users. Upon receiving feedback from our call centre agents, It became evident that some volunteers at Wirral Foodbanks' were arranging and paying for transport for service users out of their own pockets, to help get them home after collecting their food parcels.

The team at Wirral Foodbank are now able to book journeys for any service user should they need it to get home, with the cost of the journey covered by Argyle Satellite.

“When people visit one of our foodbank centres, they often have the challenge of getting the food home. For a family, this can include a large amount of food.  We can contact Argyle taxis, who will arrange for the person and the food to be collected from a foodbank centre and taken to their home address, the costs are covered by Argyle Taxis. This service makes such a difference and it is greatly appreciated by our clients.”

Our business is built around supporting those around us. From sponsoring grassroots sports teams, delivering food parcels to those in need during the Covid-19 pandemic, and providing free journeys to veterans on Remembrance Sunday. Where we can, we give back to the community that has supported us.
