CCTV footage shows the moment Storm Arwen tore part of a Wirral school's roof off and sent it crashing into play equipment.
The Observatory School in Bidston has been closed for a third day as work to repair damage took place.
A statement on its website this afternoon confirmed the school is to reopen tomorrow.
The high winds on Friday and Saturday had caused part of the roof to be detached, sent flying more than 75metres and crashing into play equipment in the schoolyard.
Pictures, sent to the Globe by deputy headteacher Sarah Gower showed work underway, earlier today, remove a large tree in the school's sensory garden that had been made unsafe by the storm.
The tree fell partially onto the public pavement and onto the sensory garden at the front of the school.
