A small road closure is in place in Bromborough as a team works to remove a large tree that fell into a house during Storm Arwen.
A crane and a cherry picker have been deployed to help a team of specialists remove the tree from a property on Allport Road, opposite a row of local shops.
As a result, a small road closure is in place on Allport Road between Morland Avenue and Westminster Drive.
The house was badly damaged on Friday evening when high winds uprooted the tree, which fell across the pavement and into the roof of the house.
Work to remove the tree started this afternoon and has continued into the evening.
Friday night's storm caused large damage with several fallens trees across Wirral.
The main stand at Prenton Park was also damaged, causing Tranmere's home match against Stevenage to be postponed.
