IT feels as though Christmas has come early with the arrival of snow in Warrington.

The town received a dusting of snowfall this afternoon, Sunday, at times becoming rather heavy.

It came after the town was battered by strong winds brought by Storm Arwen on Friday and Saturday.

The snow was certainly enjoyed by youngsters and pet dogs alike, who were snapped making the most of the occasion.
