Emergency services have been called to a gym in Bromborough following a serious incident.
Police and ambulance services, including a first response vehicle, are at the scene.
The incident is understood to have occurred in Everlast Fitness Centre, formerly DW Fitness, on the Croft Retail Park in Bromborough.
The gym has been closed to the public while emergency services attend to the scene.
The Globe has received an unverified report of a possible stabbing, this has not been confirmed by police.
A member of the gym, who was in the building at the time, has told the Globe that a young man ran inside the gym and stabbed a man who was using the gym inside.
It is understood that the victim walked out of the gym.
