A WIRRAL restaurateur plans to bring a slice of Latin flair to Bromborough with his new venture.
Pina Loca, the brainchild of Babul Miah, is a Mexican restaurant set to open on Allport Lane in the village later this month.
Situated at the formerly occupied by McColl's convenience store, best remembered as Dillons Newsagents.
Pina Loca - or "crazy pineapple" as its name translates - will offer Babul's take on Mexican classics as well as a mouth-watering choice of Mexican inspired small plates.
Not to mention a wine and cocktail menu that will have you thinking you are in Mexico!
The refit is currently ongoing for Pina Loca Mexican Kitchen in Bromborough village
Owner Babul Miah is a name synonymous with the Wirral's restaurant trade. A member of the family owns West Kirby's go to Indian restaurant, Karma Indian Food.
Looking ahead to Pina Loca's launch, Babul said: "I'm so excited to get the doors open and show Bromborough and the surrounding areas what we have to offer.
"The warm welcome we have received from the local community is amazing, we already feel part of the family and haven't even opened the doors yet.
"The whole team has been working really hard for months to perfect our dishes and make sure that our drinks menu really hits the spot.
"We hope to open later this month if all goes to plan."
Pina Loca are looking to employ chefs, bartenders and waiting on staff, in both full and part time roles. If you are interested and want to apply, send CV to careers@pinaloca.co.uk
