A Wirral dance school has won a 'once-in-a-lifetime' chance to choreograph a dance routine that will be performed on a nationwide tour.

Birkenhead-based Freedom Dance Studios entered a competition run by the producers of L.O.L Surprise! live VIP Party Tour.

Freedom Dance Studios' dazzling choreography will be performed live to thousands during the tour, taking place from November to February, which includes a performance at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

L.O.L. Surprise! is a range of dolls for children aged 4 and upwards and available at all good toy retailers.

Kirsty Murphy, from Freedom Dance Studios, said: "When we saw the L.O.L. Surprise! live dance competition we knew it was made for us.

"At Freedom we train our dancer's based on their level rather than their age. We focus on progression rather than perfection, we want all our dancers to feel confident, fierce, and empowered by being one thing... themselves which is just like the LOL Surprise dancers.

"LOL Dolls are all different in their look and their personalities, but they are all beautiful and embrace who they are and that's a great message for young kids

"We can't wait to see our dance performed live in the UK tour and we hope it helps our kids know just how amazing they are!"

Bart Doerfler, creative director and choreographer of L.O.L. Surprise! live, said: "L.O.L. Surprise! live is a fusion of a family concert, and a feel-good dance party all rolled into one.

"It's a brand-new experience complete with live dancing and characters as well as holograms - it's been designed with fans at the forefront, so it only felt right to offer fans the chance to get involved in the show's choreography.

"Freedom Dance Studios' created such fun, feel-good dance moves, and we can't wait to bring it to life as we tour the UK from November.

"We hope the dancers feel proud to see their very own steps performed at the UK's biggest arenas; it's a great asset to our production that is bound to get the audience on their feet!"
