POLICE found more than 1,000 wraps of what is believed to be heroin and cocaine during a search at a house in Birkenhead.
A smaller quantity of cannabis and amphetamine and an amount of cash was also found in the raid at the property in Warrington Street on Saturday 23.
A 61-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman from Birkenhead were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs, and have been released under investigation.
