Members of the public and staff are being invited to attend the Annual Members’ Meeting of Wirral University Teaching Hospital, online this evening.

Over the past year, the Trust faced unprecedented challenges of the worsening pandemic as the number of cases began to rise again in December.

In the same month, the Trust was established as one of the first Vaccination Hubs in the country, playing a key role in delivering vital vaccinations to frontline staff and the local community.

At the meeting, there will be an overview of the past year, including discussion of the achievements of the Trust, important updates on major developments and future plans, plus a chance to ask questions of the Trust Board and senior team.

Owing to social distancing requirements and the ongoing restrictions to visitors to the hospital, this year’s meeting will be held virtually online via Microsoft Teams, so the public can be part of the event from the comfort of their homes.

The online event will start at 5pm tonight, Monday, October 18.

The Trust is asking people to take this opportunity to hear about their highlights over the past year.
