THE second series of Sky drama Cobra - which was partly filmed in New Brighton and saw part of the seaside town transformed into a disaster zone - begins tonight.
COBRA: Cyberwar - starring Robert Carlyle, Victoria Hamilton, Richard Dormer, David Haig and Lucy Cohu - deals with an unfolding national emergency that threatens to engulf the country as the COBRA committee, a team featuring Britain’s leading experts, crisis contingency planners and most senior politicians fights to ensure the protection of the people of Great Britain.
The first episode starts tonight on Sky Max and Now TV at 9pm.
Part of New Brighton promenade was transformed for filming in February.
Pictures sent in by Globe readers Ian Farebrother and Susan Mossop and set decorator EJ Grainger showed preparation for filming.
