HARLEY is hoping to find her forever home - can you help?

The three-year-old Collie Cross found herself at Dogs Trust Merseyside after a change in her family's circumstances meant they could no longer keep her.

She is a typical lively Collie who loves to play, her favourites being fetch or a tug of war.

The team say she is very affectionate too and will make a lovely pet for a family who like to head out and about on adventures that will keep Harley’s brain and body busy.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Harley is absolutely gorgeous and full of beans!

"She can live with children aged ten and over but her infectious enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of her so she will benefit from her new owners doing some training with her, for example teaching her not to jump up.

"She is very clever so we know she will learn quickly, especially if there’s a game of fetch as a reward for doing her training!"

Harley sometimes reacts to dogs when she’s out and about so she will need a home where she is the only dog, and she will need access to a secure garden.

If you think you could give Harley the forever home she deserves, go to www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming to start the virtual adoption process.

Dogs Trust Merseyside holds information days every Sunday. If you would like to take a tour of the centre, meet members of the team and see the dogs spending time with their canine carers, go to www.dogstrust.org.uk/ourcentres to book a place.
