A 27-year-old man has been charged with burglary with violence and assault in relation to an incident which took place on Wirral in 2014.
Shaqueme Rock, originally from Liverpool, but most recently living in Dublin, was arrested in Belfast by officers from Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) on Saturday (October 9) and was returned to Liverpool where he was charged.
He appeared at Wirral adult remand court today (Tuesday, October 12) and was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on November 9.
The charge relates to an incident in a property on Grange Road West in Birkenhead in April 2014 in which the occupier was assaulted and cash taken.
