VETERAN Hoylake bluesman Al Peters is bringing his Blues Disciples to the Sea Shanty Coffee Bar in New Brighton next week.
Taking place at the venue on Friday, October 15, it features Leigh Marles on slide guitar and fellow bluesman Herringbone John (pictured, below) on slide guitar and vocals.
The set will include traditional blues, original material and spoken words.
The performance, takes place from midday-1pm.
Al said: "It is a free, so enjoy the music and the ambience".
The group's new CD will be on sale during the gig, with proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Al continued: "I helped look after my dear mother for over 6 years when she suffered from vascular dementia.
"That was an experience that’ll I’ll never forget and often think of those who are suffering now especially during the pandemic."
