NORWICH shoegazers Sennen make a welcome return this month in celebration of the reissue of their classic 2005 debut album Windows.
The new, expanded edition – released on Sonic Cathedral and remastered by Slowdive’s Simon Scott, – doubles the original album with another seven contemporaneous tracks, many of which were live staples at the time, but have never been released before.
Taking their name from a song by indie heroes Ride, Sennen specialise in ethereal soundscapes and dark atmospheric guitars building to the kind of epic crescendos produced by My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai and Spiritualized.
The band has won a loyal following across the world, and seen their music appear on hit US TV dramas such as True Blood and One Tree Hill.
Sennen play Birkenhead’s Future Yard on October 28 2021. Support on the night comes from The Letrasets, Oh Well, Goodbye and Persian Furs.
Tickets available online in advance or on the door. Future Yard is a cashless venue – all payments are taken by contactless or chip and pin.
