COULD charming Toby be the dog for you?
The four-year-old Siberian Husky Cross - currently in the care of Dogs Trust Merseyside - is described as an affectionate boy who likes a cuddle and loves to have fun with his human pals, but has spent much of his life outside so can find some things a little unsettling.
He will benefit from having a patient family who will let him settle in at his own pace and once he’s in a routine and knows he is in his forever home, the team are confident his personality will shine through.
Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Toby is absolutely charming and doing really well.
"He can be playful and is getting more used to playing with his toys, but we’re sure this side of his personality will come out even more once he is settled.
"It will be lovely to see Toby head off to a new home where he can start to enjoy all the affection and home comforts he deserves."
Toby reacts to other dogs but is doing very well with his distraction training, which the centre team will help his owners continue with.
Toby isn’t used to being around children so he would be suited to a home with older teenagers only. Toby is always up for an adventure and likes to explore, so he will need a very secure garden where he can relax.

Dogs Trust Merseyside holds Information Days every Sunday.
