AN exciting 'Puppet Van' children's show will be taking place at the Lion Salt Works Museum next week.

On August 7, the Northwich museum will show ‘The Lost Colour’ – a play about colour that involves clowning, puppets, and paint.

The show, by the award-winning Half String Theatre, will be performed at 2pm from the top of a van with the audience watching from the lawn.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a rug, or even a picnic, for the 45 minute performance.

Bookings can be made online at ticketsource.co.uk/cheshireruraltouringarts, by phone on 01606 275066 or in person at the museum.

Councillor Louise Gittins, leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council said: "This imaginative and joyful play is a lovely way of enjoying live performance in a safe and historic setting.

"Whatever age you are – this enchanting show will appeal to the imagination and be a highlight of the summer for families who want to create happy memories."

The show is part of the Cheshire Rural Touring Arts (CRTA) – Autumn 2021 season.

CRTA is a network of villages across the Cheshire region with volunteers who enjoy the challenge and excitement of choosing and staging high quality arts and entertainment events in their village halls and community centres, as well as organising participatory arts events.
