A fire safety firm has agreed to sponsor two amateur football and boxing clubs across Wirral.
NW Fire Solutions has announced the sponsorship of Birkenhead’s Venture Boxing Club and Birkenhead Boys under-15’s football team.
Since launching in 2011, the Liscard-based business serves an array of national property and housing clients.
Company founder Neil Oxton said: "We have a long track record of supporting charitable and community initiatives so it is great to be announcing our support for two sports clubs who do so much for the community in Birkenhead.
"These clubs work tirelessly to give young people the opportunities to develop.
“Personally, I was a beneficiary of the effort these sports clubs put into helping young people as a youngster so I want to do whatever I can to ensure that this great work continues.
“I am proud that NW Fire Solutions is sponsoring them both.”
