A charity night of food, drink and live entertainment is coming to one of Wirral’s most idyllic country venues.
Strawberry Moon in Thurstaston will host the event on Friday, July 16 which will raise donations for Wirral charity, IncuBabies.
Eventgoers can expect a three-course meal, charity raffle with fantastic prizes and top entertainment from many talented musicians.
Trustee of IncuBabies, Trudi Brooks said: “Ever since the special baby unit was set up in the 1980s, it has saved the lives of countless babies with the highest level of medical care but with increasing demand, the pressure is on to expand the facility.
“IncuBabies is completely volunteer led and our team works tirelessly to raise as much funds as possible in order to reach our target of £1.5million by 2023.”
The charity was formed in 2017 to support the development of Arrowe Park Hospital’s intensive care and high dependency neonatal unit.
The charity wants to raise enough money to fund an extension, new equipment and even better facilities as the hospital has recently seen an increase from around 80 babies a year to around 400.
Trudi added: “It’s nights like the Strawberry Moon event that all play their part in this goal and if anyone can make it, we’ll be very grateful.
“You can expect a night of quality food, drink and live entertainment at a beautiful venue — and all for a vital cause.”
