AN 11-year-old girl has died at her home in Wirral, Merseyside Police has confirmed.
The schoolgirl died suddenly at her home in Cherrybank, Wallasey on Monday.
Paramedics were called to the address but the girl's death was confirmed at the scene.
The youngster's death is not believed to be suspicious.
In a statement a Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We can confirm police attended an address in Wallasey yesterday, Monday, June 14, following reports of the sudden death of an 11-year-old girl.
"The child was found at her home on Cherrybank yesterday morning. Paramedics attended but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."
A file has been prepared for the coroner.
